These terms cover use of LookalikeDomain at lookalikedomain.com. By creating an account or running a scan, you agree to them.
The service
LookalikeDomain compares a brand name you enter with registered domain names and ranks possible lookalikes. A signed-out check is a short preview. A free account shows a longer list for one brand. Pro shows the full list, up to 250 domains. Business monitored brands keep up to 1,000, with the PDF limited to the top 250 and the full list in CSV. Paid plans also include more brands, reports, and monitoring as described on the pricing page.
Results are informational. A match is not a legal finding that a domain infringes a trademark, and a missing name is not proof that no similar domain exists.
Accounts
Sign-in uses a magic link sent to your email. You need access to that inbox. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Plans and fees
Free includes one brand. Pro and Business are paid plans with the brand limits and features shown at checkout and on the pricing page. Prices shown on the site are the prices we charge when billing is active. Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record.
When a subscription is billed, you can cancel from Account. Paid features stay until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to Free. If no card has been charged, cancelling returns the account to Free and does not create a charge or a refund. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to harass, phish, or attack another site or person
- Resell scan output as your own product without our permission
- Probe, overload, or bypass limits on the site or the scan service
- Upload a logo you do not have the right to use on reports
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. We will tell you at the email on the account when it is reasonable to do so.
Your content
You keep ownership of brand names, notes, and logos you add. You give us permission to store and process them so we can run scans, monitoring, and reports for you.
Ending use
You can stop using LookalikeDomain at any time and cancel a paid plan from Account. We may stop offering the service with notice to the email on your account. If we shut the service down after you have paid for a period we cannot provide, we will refund the unused portion of that period.
Liability
The service is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every lookalike domain will be found. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
